Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel

Singapore
2001

The Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel is located in the heart of Chinatown facing the scenic area, which forms the riverside of the Singapore River.

While the entrance of the hotel is from one of the main roads through Chinatown, the other side of the hotel fronts onto the river and the area of Clarke Quay on the opposite bank, which has been developed as a complex of restaurants, entertainment centres and shops which are located within the restored old buildings of historic interest.

In keeping with the traditional style of architecture in that area, pitch roofs are used for this hotel and the concept of a courtyard in the form of a landscape garden with a swimming pool on the 3rd Storey level, gives this hotel a tropical ambience while the interior appointments will be modern and up-to-date and in line with the high standards of hotels in Singapore, generally.

The total accommodation comprises of 486 room’s ballrooms, function rooms and full complement of Restaurants and F&B outlets. Car parking will be accommodated in two levels in the Basement.
