The AWP design for the new Yizhou City Plaza and the municipal administrative districts organically unifies a series of functionally independent buildings as a larger symbolic whole. It’s unique contemporary form is based upon a series of metaphors derived from Chengdu and Sichuan’s unique landscape and history, and the current desire of it’s people to innovate in both art and science
