Credit Suisse APRDC Office

Singapore

2006-2009

The clean lines and ‘industrial chic’ Interior Design of the Level 1 interior of APRDC echo the strong geometric forms of the building’s architecture. The off-form concrete, stone and aluminium finishes of the reception area are softened by the introduction of timber and accent carpet within the office and meeting areas, whilst signature furniture selections provide colour and warmth.

The 6.5m floor to ceiling height of Levels 2 and 3 at APRDC allowed AWP to hang meeting and conference rooms above the open plan office floorplates thus maximising flexibility in space planning and creating a dynamic working environment. High level services are left exposed to enhance the ‘industrial chic’ design aesthetic. The 5,600 sqm fit out was the first to achieve the Green Mark Platinum Award for Office Interiors

This is achieved through the specification of Green label materials, significant indoor planting and the use of ‘intelligent systems’ such as light sensor blinds, motion sensor lighting in back of house spaces and energy efficient sanitaryware. A variety of different meeting and discussion environments are created varying from informal café and lounge spaces to a fully serviced and acoustically sealed conference room.
